Noises Off! at the Sierra Repertory Theater in Columbia, CA:

"As the harried-but-patient-beyond-compare director, Lloyd Dallas, Mark Poppleton is equal parts omnipotent master of everything and impotent lothario. Dallas has got so many women in the production strung along that by Act III everything unravels. Be ready for Poppleton's strong voice to ring out from the audience during Act I, because that's where the director sits during rehearsals most of the time.

Sweeney Todd at Musical Theater Heritage in Kansas City, MO:

"The true demon of the story, however, is authoritative Judge Turpin, devilishly portrayed by Mark Poppleton. During his feature “Johanna: Mea Culpa” in the first act, the judge grapples with unspeakably immoral urges for his adopted “daughter.” Poppleton conveys Turpin’s repulsive malevolence with an aptly intense air of pure evil; his performance made my skin crawl (just as it should)."

My Fair Lady at the Alhambra Theatre & Dining in Jacksonville, FL:

"The real star of the show, however, turns out to be Mark Poppleton, who plays Colonel Pickering. His interpretation of the character is the most compelling of the cast. Poppleton's acting is energetic, comedic and great fun to watch."
